Class Announcements CoinsPlease check to see if your child can name the penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. We have been working on coin recognition and values the past weeks and will revisit it when we learn to count money. Students should be able to recognize coins based on the color, size, or the pictures on the front and back. This would be a great activity to do while grocery shopping, waiting at a doctor's office, waiting for dinner, or even as a conclusion or introduction to homework activities. Thank you for supporting what we are doing in the classroom! Check it out!We made a new digital story about needs and wants! Check it out in the "Student Showcase" part of our website! Enjoy!

We have recess at 10:15 in the morning and the temperature can still be pretty cold at that hour. If your child is not wearing a warm enough jacket, they will not be permitted to come outside on the playground with us and will have to stay inside while we play. Also, while the children are waiting outside in the morning before the bell rings, it can be pretty chilly so it is important that they are warm enough while they wait! Thank you!
